The food was hot, well seasoned, and delicious. The customer service was 10/10; they were very attentive to us and very welcoming. The jerk sauce is really good as well. I’m a Jamaican food connoisseur; I know when it’s authentic and when it’s not, and this is the real deal. Definitely check them out. We were riding through from out of town and found them located in the international food market. I definitely wanted to take real time pictures because I noticed most of the reviewers pics were not up to par; nevertheless, I did not allow that to stop me from trying some good food. Also, make sure ya try their ginger lemonade. If I’m ever back in town, I will definitely stop here. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken dinner, Jerk Chicken dinner, and Mac and cheese. Good value as well.
Good food and great people. We found this place and really enjoyed what we bought. We tried the jerk chicken and beef patties. Jerk chidekn was seasoned nicely but a bit stingy with the gravy. Patties were delicious and worth the wait.
Great food at a good price. Service was good, the portion was enough to eat now & later. Definitely recommend the oxtail 10/10
I’ve order from Mi Yaad on UE a few times before and I really enjoy their sides and Mild Beef Patties. I actually found them because my normal spot routinely runs out of patties, and my cravings led me to continue searching. My food arrives hot, securely packaged and full of flavor! The Mac and Cheese is more of a casserole style, while the cheese pull I usually look for isn’t really there, it doesn’t take away from the taste. Their potato salad is some of the best I’ve had - well seasoned. And the Patties are buttery and flaky and just outright delicious!
Okay y’all so I’ve been here to eat 4 times in the last two weeks and each and every time has been A1! I’ve been searching and looking for a good authentic Jamaican restaurant and babyyy this is it! I have the exact same meal each and every time jerk chicken rices and peas and cabbage topped with spicy jerk sauce (beware it’s spicy spicy )so I can’t tell you how the other dishes taste because I’m addicted to this one but I’m sure they are super good! Been wanting to try the Rasta punch but I think I been going too early lol I’ve been there at 11:36 am definitely a must try. Also note if you not use to Saragas market there is a smell from all the different types of foods they sell but don’t let it take away from the restaurant itself because it’s really good!
The ox tail accompanied by beans and rice was absolutely excellent. Price was a little high for the portion size of ox tail, IMO. The flavor is so good! Can’t wait to come back!
